By definition, the term "Metaphysics" is composed of two words. "Meta" meaning "of higher order or level," and "physics" meaning "the science of matter and energy and their interactions." Simply stated, Metaphysics is the "higher order of matter and energy interacting."
Metaphysics is also considered a "Philosophy." "Philosophy" is also composed of two words. "Philo" meaning "love," and "sophia" meaning "wisdom."
Therefore, we can define the study of Metaphysics as "the desire for higher knowledge of what is beyond the physical." Or as we would prefer to think of it, "The Philosophical Study of Being and Knowing."
The Purpose of our FREE newsletter is simple! It is "to provide information across a broad range of metaphysical subjects."
